Summer Fun Days Kick Off with a Fiery Start!

What a day! Yesterday marked the first session of our Kids’ Summer Fun Days, and it was an absolute smash hit! We were thrilled to welcome a brilliant turnout of young adventurers, all of whom brought energy, curiosity, and the kindest manners – true superstars from start to finish.

🔥 A Morning of Fire and Focus

The day began with an exciting and educational activity all about fire. Guided safely, the children learned how to use firesteels and experimented with different fire-starting materials while learning about survival essentials. It was incredible to see how focused and engaged they were, progressing to more challenging materials with growing confidence. We could have spent all day just on this – they were that invested!

🍎 Snack Time Under the Gazebo

Mid-morning, we took a well-deserved break under the gazebo with our pre-packed, healthy snack boxes – all vegan as standard and prepared in a food hygiene-certified kitchen to accommodate allergies. Yesterday’s snack selection included:

  • Fresh oranges and apples
  • Crunchy cucumber and carrot sticks
  • Mini breadsticks
  • Mango & apple Soreen bar
  • And a refreshing Capri-Sun drink

Healthy, delicious, and kid-approved!

🥏 Games, Rain, and Archery

Post-snack, it was time to get moving! Frisbee was by far the game of the day – with everyone joining in for some fast-paced fun. A short rain shower led us into the cosy Bell tent for some quick indoor games, before the sun came back out just in time for our archery session – one of the day’s most anticipated activities!

☕ Wrapping Up with Warm Treats

To wind down, we gathered back at the gazebo for a special treat: warm, allergy-friendly vegan malted hot chocolate – the perfect way to relax and reflect on an exciting day. And because they just couldn’t get enough, it was one last round of frisbee before the parents arrived.

We are already buzzing for the next session this Thursday at Harvest Green – don’t forget, booking is essential!

See you soon for more fun in the sun (and maybe a little more frisbee)!
