After a soggy start to the day, Thursday at Harvest Green turned out to be a real treat! We headed back out to the field in the Beilby stretch, where the skies cleared and the sun made a welcome appearance, bringing with it a burst of warmth and energy.
The children dove straight into the day’s activities, embracing a mix of old favourites and lively games. Archery and fire lighting were a big hit as always, giving everyone a chance to test their focus and survival skills. The magic carpet challenge brought out some great teamwork and laughter, and the game of croquet on the grass was a surprise favourite – who knew knocking wooden balls through hoops could get so competitive?
Lunchtime was a fresh and fruity affair: colourful peppers, juicy tomatoes, strawberries, and oranges were paired with crunchy breadsticks and, of course, the ever-popular popcorn. A chilled Fruit Shoot topped it all off – the perfect refreshment after a morning of adventure.
All in all, it was a fantastic Thursday out in the field. Rain or shine, there’s always something special happening at Harvest Green.
