What a fantastic day we had at our latest Kids’ Summer Fun Day! The sun was out in full force, the air was buzzing with excitement, and Ten Acres was alive with the sounds of laughter, teamwork, and adventure.
Our young adventurers spent most of the day mastering the art of fire-making and building towering structures. Many of them were keen to perfect their skills, experimenting with different materials and techniques. In between the bigger activities, we enjoyed a few light games – a chance to recharge, giggle, and stretch those legs before diving back into more challenges.
Lunchtime was a delicious summer treat: juicy fresh mango, crisp mixed salad, jammy dodgers for a sweet bite, crunchy breadsticks, and of course, a refreshing Fruit Shoot to keep the energy flowing. With the heat beating down, we made sure to take plenty of breaks in the shade, topping up on water to stay cool and safe.
As always, the kids were amazing – full of determination, curiosity, and kindness towards each other. It’s such a joy to see Ten Acres being enjoyed by the community, filled with activity, learning, and happy memories in the making.
