Do you love spending time outdoors? Want to make a difference in your local community while meeting new people? Then we’d love to see you at our Friday Volunteering Sessions on the River Rea!
Every Friday from 10am – 2pm, we meet at the Ten Acres Noticeboard on Cartland Road to roll up our sleeves and look after this special stretch of the river. From litter-picking and clearing paths, to planting and maintaining the natural habitat, there’s always something meaningful to get involved in. No prior experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to help out!
These sessions are a fantastic opportunity not only to care for the environment but also to connect with others who share a passion for keeping our green spaces healthy and welcoming. Together, we can ensure the River Rea remains a beautiful place for people and wildlife alike.
🙏 A big thank you to the National Lottery!
We’re incredibly grateful to the National Lottery for providing the funding that makes these sessions possible. Their support allows us to provide tools, resources, and coordination so that volunteers can have the greatest possible impact.
So, if you’re free on a Friday, why not come along? Bring a friend, wear some comfy clothes, and get ready to make a real difference. 💪🌱
