Saturdays in Ten Acres

Voluntyeers have been hard at work restoring the pathways in ten acres starting form the cartland road entrance and volunteer kevin has been loaning out his scythe for the job utilising thier recent scythe training. There’s also been alot of crack willow fallen down in the recent bad weather and storms that have been left unmanaged since slowly obscuring more pathway. The team got to work on the main culprits this week but its a very big job!

Where: Meet up at the Ten Acres noticeboard on Cartland Rd/Riverbrook

When: 14th, 21st, 28th June & 5th, 12th July 2025

Time: 11am until 2pm

Who: Anyone who wants to take part in looking after our river space and pathways. There’s lots of to do to choose from including: Balsam Bashing, Biodiversity recording, Litter picking, Tree Management, tree planting, bramble monoculture clearance and more.
