This weeks blog post is a 2-for-1 special for our Kids’ Summer Fun Days – and what a blast it was!
We packed in two fantastic sessions: Friday at Ten Acres and Tuesday at Hazelwell. And yes, we brought out all the favourites once again… croquet, rounders, archery, and of course, a bit of campfire magic 🔥. The children threw themselves into every activity with tons of energy and big smiles – it really has been wonderful to see.
We didn’t manage to snap new photos this time, but by now you probably get the idea – lots of laughter, fresh air, and plenty of fun for families along the River Rea 🌿.
The summer holidays have absolutely flown by, and we can hardly believe there’s just one more session left:
📅 Saturday 23rd August – don’t miss it!
This summer has been our most action-packed programme yet, and we are so pleased to have introduced local families to some of the marvellous green spaces that line the Rea. Many of these spots are tucked away and lesser-known, despite being right on the doorstep – so it’s been a joy to showcase them.
We’ve met so many new families along the way, and the kids have been absolutely marvellous throughout. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this summer such a memorable one.
We’re taking a well-earned break after the final session (phew!) – but we already can’t wait to hopefully do it all again next year. 🌞
