This week we started work with the volunteers on top meadow garden. Felipe worked hard to clear bramble roots with a mattock while the toddlers got stuck into a muddy hole, which became an excellent game of “stuck” and then became an imaginary island! The kids dug for Clay and found clay, rocks, sand, soil and worms. We then made our own wildflower bee bombs with clay, soil and wildflower seeds from Sustainable Life.
We were also pleased to see a few decorated easter ornaments for display around the woodland play area!
