Forest Futures volunteers continued work on Ten Acres this week and along the overgrown banks near riverbrook meadow/broadmeadow they discovered a large old apple tree deep in the overgrowth, surrounded by beautiful lilac trees previously obscured and a few wild dog roses. A stunnig hidden grove of beauty now on show and cared for.
The sheer amount of apple trees on ten acres is astounding and we are discovering more and more fruitful hidden gems every week.
