One of our questions for the team was what should we do with balsam in ten acres if we see it. Well, first of all we are holding a couple of balsam bashing volunteer sessions throughout the summer so pop along to one of those if you really want to get involved and help us control this invasive weed.
If you can’t make it to a bash, this video may be helpful as it demonstrates the current method of eliminating and controlling balsam in an area. It’s pesticide free and simple and easy enough to get the kids involved.
