We’ve not had the means to update you recently – our sincerest apologies for this – but never fear work has been carrying on (with regular photo update son fota/suslife social medias.
So here is the update of the work now the project is nearing it’s end.
The garden as you can see has completely transformed! we have a rose garden, currants, trees (including the extinct service tree), rhubarb, gooseberries and lots of rare native species now on site.
We also said goodbye to t he forest futures team earlier this year in november and had our last session on 17 dec with all the kids off from school meeting up again. The project has come full circle now, starting in the wet with the seasonal ponds and with all the families and children local to the area, and now finishing once again with seasonal ponds and families. It’s really been quite wonderful and we are certainly hoping to get more funding for this amazing project in the future.
A special thank you to felipe from fruit and nut village stirchley for all his help and hard work making this project happen.
