Galium Aparine, common names – Goosegrass, sticky weed, cleavers

Family Rubiaceae

Status Common

Goosegrass leaves have lots of hooks on them making them ‘sticky’ like velcro.

Ten Acres Habitation

Found at the entrance to Bewedly Road and along the river meadow edges on both sides of the river.
